"Drawing" is the form of art where an artistic tool, whether that be a marker, pen, pencil, crayon, or other form of stylus, is used to illustrate an image on a two-dimensional plane like a notebook, piece of paper, or other such examples of flat surfaces. The most common forms of drawings comes from the basic usage of pencils on paper, although other surfaces that are also feasible through normal means include construction paper, cardboard, plastic, leather, or a canvas. Quick drawings that are meant to either be unfinished or will be expanded upon later with greater detail and more contrasts are known as "sketches". Drawings can also be temporarily made by using black- or whiteboards. Such drawings can be expanded upon in terms of transforming drawings into other forms of art including animation, illustration, architecture, and more!
